The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District has 65 square miles of service area.
The Development Department is responsible for:
- Reviewing, coordinating, and overseeing construction of water and wastewater utilities throughout the District
- The District's mapping systems as well as performing utility locates on facilities owned and operated by the District
In conjunction with the District's water and wastewater engineers, the Development Department ensures that both residential and commercial development projects are designed to comply with the
District's Design Standards,
Rules and Regulations, and Master Plans, which include local, state, and federal requirements.
